Wolverton

Introduction

R and I went for a short walk from Wolverton on the May Day bank holiday. I had previously walked around a similar route in 2005, when I’d seen a very strange collection of old Morris Minor cars in a field. I wondered if they were still there...

The canal

We started walking by the canal up as far as the aqueduct.

The rest

We followed the river for a bit, then walked up alongside the railway line.

The Lodge Farm area is where there were, previously, many old Morris Minors. Sadly these are no longer present. Instead, almost as oddly, there appears to be a clay-pigeon shooting range.

We walked across the farm on a footpath, then on country lanes back into Wolverton.

Princes Risborough

A few weeks later we went to a furniture showroom in Princes Risborough. We were mostly there to look at furniture but I took a few pictures, so I’m posting them here.
